Ajarn Prasit Thang Dong was born in Khorlate Ratchisma Thailand on December 17, 1957 and was inducted into Muay Thai by his parents at the age of 13 to help offset their financial difficulties. Ajarn Prasit's dedication and perseverance has been shown in his 30-plus years of training and teaching experience. Fighting under the name Jai Petch Kietannan (Diamond Heart) of the Kietannan Gym, Prasit has amassed close to 200 professional fights. He has come to the Ultimate Gym NY to continue the spread of authentic Thai Boxing.ajarn

Ajarn Prasit has trained over 10 champions in various weight divisions and stadiums in both Thailand and China, such as:

  • Lotti Saktaywan, four time Rangsit Stadium champion
  • Maletong, Um Noi Stadium Champion
  • Kahting Tong, Hong Kong Open Invitational Champion
  • Mala Noy, Rangsit Stadium Champion
  • Rlhot, Lumpinee Stadium Champion
  • Kong Siam, Hong Kong Open Invitational
  • Nam Tow Tong, Hong Kong Open Invitational Champion and Rajadamnern Stadium Champion
  • Gasam Lek, Rajadamnern Stadium Champion
  • Sing Dam, Rangsit Stadium Champion
  • and three Chinese Muay Thai champions in Hong Kong.

Ajarn Prasit was appointed Master Trainer of the Saktaywan Muay Thai Camp in Bangkok, Thailand, because of his mastery of the techniques and his proven ability to build champions. Saktaywan Muay Thai Camp is a unique camp that houses three camps in one: Luk Bahn Yai, Sor Silikune and Saktaywan. Ajarn Prasit's teaching style is just as hard as his fight name. He believes that even if you want Muay Thai, for fitness or self defense purposes, you must be willing to make sacrifices and push your body to newer and higher heights.
